one i use a lot for getting transparent div backgrounds working in all browsers

* html #overlay{
background-color: #333;
back\ground-color: transparent;
background-image: url(img/blank.gif);
filter: progid:DXImageTransform.Microsoft.AlphaImageLoader(src="img/overlay.png", sizingMethod="scale");
}
